Nearby you will find amazing places to visit. To the south: Parque Patagonia, Cochrane and its Reserva Tamango, San Lorenzo, Los Ñadis, Villa O’Higgins and Caleta Tortel. To the north: Puerto Guadal and Chile Chico along the southern slope of General Carrera Lake, on the northern slope is Puerto Tranquilo and the Marble Chapels, Bahía Exploradores and Laguna San Rafael.

Trekking
From a short walk to a challenging and stimulating trekking among rivers, mountains, glaciers, forests, valleys and lakes, make a perfect composition for the contemplation on this side of Patagonia. Sport Fishing
For the ones that have never touched a fish hook before or for a professional angler, this is your place. You will enjoy the most perfect spots to practice sport fishing. The Baker River is without a doubt a gift for our senses as it possesses exceptional qualities for this sport. Let yourself be accompanied by a local guide that knows this region like no one else does.
Rafting
The emotion and the adrenalin are our hosts at this activity, we invite you to travel among the Baker River, furrowing the waters of the most abundant river in Chile. The starting point is Bertrand Lake, where professionalism, safety and entertainment are the promises before boarding the rafting raft.
Kayaking
Live the surfing experience by making your own decisions about where this kayak adventure will lead you. Let you go by the current of the rivers or enjoy the calm of the lakes or lagoons.
Horseback riding
The proposal is to let yourself be guided by an expert, a native of the area who knows like no one else these mountains and valleys. Meek horses, comfortable mounts, tasty snacks and a whole landscape to discover.
Bird and local fauna watching
During the whole year, in this area we have the possibility of sighting the great Condor (Vultur Gryphus), Huemul (Hippocamelus Bisulcus), Guanacos (Lama Guanicoe), also our little hosts Chucaos, Caiquenes, Cormorant, Teros, Pitios, and Woodpeckers –among many other birds. All of them are associated to different kind of landscapes or forests, with trees as Ñirre (Nothofagus Antártica), Coigue de Magallanes (Nothofagus Betuloides), Lenga (Nothofagus Pumilio) and a whole diversity of Berberis known as Calafate.
Traditional Festivities
Horse races, folk music, traditional dances and local food meet at the traditional celebrations which take place among the different towns of the region during the summer. Live the experience of sharing with the “Patagones” the joy of their celebrations and the stories of their ancestors while you share a good “mate”.
